We have recently added training and equipment in order to provide the area, and our neighbors, with special rescue capabilities. With the addition of special cold water/ice rescue suits and devices, we can now assist in rescuing people that may have fallen through ice or become immersed in cold water.

This capability augments our existing Swift Water Rescue training and equipment. Members of the Red Lake Fire Department participate in annual Water Rescue training in order to better prepare for any Monsoon related flash floods and water rescues.
